Question and Answer Meeting on Final Covenants August 8, 7pm

Our current HOA Covenants and Restrictions were written in 1999. Many changes in laws and policies make updating our current Covenants a priority. Your HOA Board has spent the past year rewriting and simplifying these Covenants. Please plan to attend this meeting to clarify any concerns you might have. We have NOT added any new restrictions. Please review the new Covenants located on the Documents page of this web site. The Board will be sending a self-addressed stamped envelope to each member/household later in August for your family to vote. Remember, every non vote counts as a “No”. Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. See you at the meeting! Location: Lakeside Room at Bethany Lake/ Joe Farmer Recreation Center at 745 S. Allen Heights Drive. Thursday August 8, 2013 from 7-8pm.

Stage 3 Water Restrictions Changes our Day to Water!!

Effective June 1, 2013 our watering of lawns and common areas is restricted to once a week from twice a week. The City of Allen sent a nice report on our water condition and notification of the restrictions. They have also changed the DAY of the week that we are to water our lawns. It’s not Thursday or Sunday but, Tuesday’s. Please reprogram your sprinklers to work on Tuesday. The City will be monitoring this change and fines will be harsh. Please inform your neighbor’s also when possible. Thank you for your cooperation.  The Board

Sprinkler Repair & Upgrade Coming! May 29th

After months of planning and delays due to weather, the new sprinkler system will be started this week. We ask our members and visitors to reframe from walking on the grounds once construction has started. There will be open ditches and piping exposed during the 3 week process. The Board is requesting our members use the sidewalks during this time (5/29 – 6/19/13) for your safety. We regret also that fishing will not be allowed. Please help us to help police the area for the next couple of weeks. We also regret that the installation of sod will be postponed till March/April of next year. The city of Allen could not grant us a waiver for extra watering. We will see what thrives and what doesn’t.
