Road Closure

This correspondence provides a 10-day notice for an extended road closure in Lake Whitney Lane. This road closure will start on Dec. 1st and will depend on the results of the ongoing utility investigations.These road closures will not disrupt public services.

Angel Parkway Construction Update #4

Project Updates:

  • A road closure in Lake Whitney Ln is being coordinated. Further details are coming up later this month.  

·       NTMWD contractor completed the North and South bore pits and will be working on the tunnel until the pipe is delivered in mid-June.  

·       Road closures in Travis Dr., Lake Travis Dr., and E Round Rock are anticipated in the summer. These closures will be phased and communicated to minimize impacts on traffic.     

·       Utility investigations are still ongoing.

Angel Parkway Construction Update #3

Project Updates 

  • NTMWD’s contractor will be performing utility investigations in Lake Whitney Lane and Lake Falcon. Traffic may be temporarily reduced to one lane. Public services will not be impacted.  
  • NTWMD’s contractor rescheduled the North Bethany Lake Estates brick wall demolition to start next week. Traffic may be temporarily reduced to one lane or closed for a short period as a safety precaution. Public services will not be impacted. 
  • NTMWD’s contractor rescheduled the construction of the bore pit north of Travis Dr. to start next week. Traffic and public services will not be impacted.
  • NTMWD’s contractor rescheduled the construction of the bore pit in Lake Whitney Lane (next to the interception with Texoma Circle) to start as early as Friday, April 22.Traffic will be impacted for a couple of days. Detours will be provided. Public services will not be impacted.
